Litigation Paralegal
JOB INFORMATION
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of a great team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Schedule depositions / deposition summaries
- Medical summaries
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Keep accurate time (billing) records
- Assist in secretarial needs as dictated by work loads and client demand
- Other duties as required or determined by a supervisor as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal (Workers Comp and Casualty experience a plus)
- Familiarity with legal research (Lexis)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with Coyote a plus
- Must be able to work autonomously
Working Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (One hour meal break; over time as required.)
