Johnson, Yacoubian and Paysse is pleased to announce that Christopher G’sell, Denise Ledet and Christopher Williams have been named as partners with the firm. During their years with the firm, Chris, Denise and Chris have been great assets to both the firm and its clients.
Mr. G’sell joined the firm as a special counsel in 2014. His practice includes trucking defense, premises liability, insurance coverage, and business litigation. Chris has defended clients in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana.
Ms. Ledet has been with the firm since 2018 as special counsel and has extensive experience in the area of state workers’ compensation representing employers in the workers’ compensation courts in both Louisiana and Mississippi along with state and federal courts when the need arises. In addition, Denise has represented clients in the area of automobile liability and insurance defense.
Mr. Williams has been with the firm since 2013, first as a law clerk while in law school and thereafter as an associate attorney in 2014. Mr. Williams is licensed in both Louisiana and Texas. Since joining the firm as an associate, Mr. Williams has worked in the fields of Maritime and Offshore litigation as well as casualty defense representing the firm’s clients in State and Federal courts in Louisiana and Texas. He has extensive experience in the areas of LHWCA and state workers’ compensation claims as well as the defense of Jones Act and general maritime law personal injury matters.
