Christopher M. G’sell

Christopher M. G’sell is a civil litigator with experience in the fields of first-party and third-party insurance defense, coverage issues, premises liability, first-party catastrophe litigation, automobile liability, trucking, products liability, education discrimination, construction litigation, insurance subrogation, Indian law, oilfield hazardous materials litigation, and business entity formation.  Chris has handled hundreds of state and federal litigation matters from initial pleadings, discovery and motion practice, mediation and settlement conferences, through trial on the merits.  His appellate experience includes appeals and writ applications granted in the Louisiana Supreme Court, Louisiana First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Chris completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, and attended law school at the Paul M. Hebert School of Law, Louisiana State University, where he was a research assistant for Professor William Crawford.  He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1999, and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
