Jonathan L. Brehm was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Tulane University with a double major in Political Science and Theater, and served from 2003 – 2005 as a Teach for America corps member in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, Jon started a small home renovations business where he oversaw repairs to residential properties in the area.
Jon graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where he practiced with the LSU Law Juvenile Defense Clinic, received the CALI Award in Biotechnology Law, Business and Regulation, and was a Top Ten Orator in the LSU “Chancellor’s Cup”. Jon was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2013, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jon is a civil litigator with extensive experience in third-party insurance defense, premises liability, automobile liability, employment law, construction litigation, municipal liability, civil rights, personal injury, public bid, and the Louisiana public records law.
