Christopher L. Williams

Christopher L. Williams has practiced with the firm since graduating from Tulane University Law School in May, 2014, with honors. His practice is focused primarily on maritime and energy litigation, vessel collisions/allisions, Jones Act and LHWCA defense, casualty defense and corporate matters including defense and indemnity/insurance coverage disputes.

Chris is a 2014 alumnus of Tulane University Law School, graduating cum laude, and a 2008 alumnus of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. When in law school, Chris was a Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and participated in the Judge John R. Brown Moot Court Competition, competing in 2013 and coaching in 2014. In addition, Chris was a student attorney in the Juvenile Litigation Clinic. Upon graduation, Chris earned the Tulane Certificate of Specialization in Maritime Law, and was awarded the Cicero C. Sessions Trial Advocacy Award and the James A. Wysocki Trial Advocacy Award.

Chris is also active in several bar associations and industry-centered associations, including the Mariners Club of the Port of New Orleans, the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (“SEALI”), the Maritime Law Association of the United States (“MLAUS”), and the Department of Labor Joint Bar Association.
